Aishwarya Edakhe is a designer-maker, graduated in architecture and masters in interior architectural design from CEPT University with a specialization in Building Crafts. Her work focuses on transdisciplinary perspectives on material culture studies. She has worked with CEPT and NID Ahmedabad as a teaching associate and visiting faculty.
With a transdisciplinary background she conducts workshops based on theory and research frameworks. Rooted in crafts she has been experimenting with identity design and has been a part of multiple workshops under the theme in India and Europe. Her primary practice revolves around illustrating narratives in spatial design through objects. Her explorations are based on human-object relationships under the design studio label illu_stri.
